読後の感想としては…これはミステリと思わない方が楽しいのではないか、という感じ。
確かに探偵が事件を解決する話ではあるのですが、無意味としか思えないほどに散りばめられたトリックやアナグラムなどの要素。
詰め込まれたミステリの薀蓄に、どうにも不確かな犯人の動機と、ある人物が犯人である根拠。
極めつけとして、最後の最後でそうした要素すら超越するようなどんでん返し。
また、前提となるJDCからしてぶっ飛んだ組織で、そこに所属するのも変人や超人ばかり。
都合よく進むストーリーに、ひねられた構成。
これらもわざとそうしているのだとすると、エンターテイメントとしては面白いしアリだと思いました。
姉妹編にあたる『コズミック』を読むべきかどうかは、まだ判断しかねていますけれど。
